Sample Journey:
Day 1: Arrive in bustling Melbourne early in the morning on your flight from the United States. Your private driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your centrally-located 4-star hotel.
After checking your luggage at your hotel, board the complementary tram to begin your exploration of the city. In the early afternoon, join a guided walk of Flagstaff Gardens and introduction to the Koorie Heritage Trust.

Day 2: Head over to Federation Square this morning to join Real Melbourne Bike Tours for an in-depth exploration of the city. Find Melbourne's hidden gems in the alleyways and multi-cultural neighborhoods - and savor a few gourmet treats along the way.
At the tour's end, the day is free to sample some of the varied things to do in Melbourne at your leisure.

Day 3: Head out of Melbourne today with a small group to the Great Western Plains on a Savannah Walkabout. Your first stop is the open-range Serendip Sanctuary to mingle with Eastern-gray kangaroos, Red-necked Wallabies and Echidnas. The Sanctuary is also home to over 150 species of birds, including Australian bustards, Brolgas and Kites.
After a picnic lunch in the bush, your naturalist guide will escort you to the Brisbane Ranges National Park for a walk through the grasslands and bush in search of Koalas nestled in their gum tree homes. You may even spot a kangaroo or two in this wide open area.

Day 4: You'll be off today on a wander to Phillip Island with a small group - pack your sweater as it might be chilly by the time you return to your hotel. Your first stop is the Australian Gardens, a branch of the Melbourne Royal Botanical Gardens, to stroll through a representation of the entire Australian continent and its diverse landforms and vegetation.
After working up an appetite, you'll enjoy the next stop - Panny's Amazing World of Chocolate! The world's largest chocolate waterfall, amazing chocolate art reproductions and of course, fantastic Belgian chocolate tastings to delight and tempt everyone.
After a walkabout the Koala Conservation Centre and Western Port Bay, it's time for the evening's main attraction - the Penguin Parade. Watch the world's smallest penguins as they surf in on the waves and waddle ashore to their burrows in the dunes for the night.

Day 5: Enjoy a sleep-in this morning before heading out to explore the city on the final full day of your One Week Walkabout Melbourne vacation package. Learn to prepare a meal with authentic Australian ingredients at Tjanabi - you'll get to taste the results of your new-found skills! Or have a picnic in one of the many tranquil gardens.
